General Notes: Husband - Benoni Dawson Douds


He came to Hopewell township, Beaver County, PA, in 1852, and bought the John R. and Mary A. McCune farm. He sold a part of it, retaining sixty-one acres. He also owned a farm of eight-seven acres across the Ohio river. He was an elder in the Presbyterian church. In politics he was a Republican.
