General Notes: Husband - John Conrad Dower


He was born in Germany and was twelve years old when brought by his parents to the United States. He was reared to manhood in Venango County, Pennsylvania, which was the field of his greatest business activity. He there farmed many years and also met with much success as an oil producer.
