General Notes: Husband - Robert Clark

---

Having first settled near Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, he went to Sherman's Valley as a volunteer to defend the settlers against the Indians. Seeing the fine water, timber and soil of the valley, he settled there.
