Rites Are Read at St. Stanislaus
Miss Evelyn R. Dukarski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dukarski, of South Sheridan street, became the bride of Frank D. Lusher, of Nebobish avenue, son of Oren Lusher and Mrs. Otto Keisel, in a ceremony performed in St. Stanislaus church before an altar of bronze and yellow chrysanthemums. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Lewandowski officiated before 150 guests.
For her wedding, the bride chose a candlelight satin gown featuring a seed pearl neckline, wrist-point sleeves and a long train. Her veil was full length and fell from a crown of glazed orange blossoms. For her bouquet, she carried Johanna Hill roses and white bebe chrysanthemums.
Miss Rose Alma Metevia, as maid of honor, and the Misses Lorraine Golombek and Mary Huntek, as bridesmaids, wore gowns of yellow moire taffeta, and carried bouquets of bronze and yellow chrysanthemums with matching tiaras.
Edward Legner was best man and Eugene Tarkowski and Keith Carolan seated the guests.
A reception was held at Polonia hall where the table was decorated with a four-tiered wedding cake flanked by white, yellow, and bronze chrysanthemums.
Following a two-week trip through the Southern states, they will make their home at 1113 Nebobish avenue, Essexville.
Guests for the wedding were present from Detroit, Lapeer, Lansing, Sterling, Midland and Flint.
