General Notes: Husband - Joseph Warren Minteer


He remained on the homestead and obtained his education in the local public schools. For three years following his marriage he continued agricultural pur­suits, and then turned his attention to mer­chandising, in February, 1908, embarking in the general mercantile business at Craigsville, PA. He has built up a profitable trade and has won respect and esteem in the community by his honorable methods. He became postmaster at Craigsville in 1908.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. He was an Odd Fellow, belonging to Craigsville Lodge No. 836, and in politics he was a Democrat.
