General Notes: Husband - James Gordon


He was a native of Ireland, who had served in the Revolutionary war. He married in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, where he lived for many years. He was among the early settlers of Black-lick township, Indiana County; tradition through the family reports that his daughter Sidney carried a gun while her father labored in the field.
