General Notes: Husband - Parker Scott Sphar


He was born in Allen township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and was reared to manhood on the home place. After his marriage he located on ninety-six acres of land in Allen township, containing a good stone quarry adjoining Charleroi. He did an extensive business in building stone, besides general farming. In political opinion he was a Republican, and in religion he and his wife were members of the Ebenezer M. E. Church.
