General Notes: Husband - Alexander Dunn

He was a native of Eastern Pennsylvania and settled in French Creek Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer and one of the early justices of the peace, appointed by Gov. Snyder in 1809.

Alexander and Patrick Dunn, brothers, emigrated from the Susquehanna to the northwest part of the township. The latter was without a family. Alexander was the first Justice of the Peace, and about 1816 removed with his family to Shakleyville, Mercer County, where he died. [HCC 1885, 549]
