General Notes: Husband - Alexander Russell

---

He came to Venango County, Pennsylvania, with his father, about 1800, or soon after, and settled in Frenchcreek. He attended the first school taught in the township, and is the only surviving scholar [1879]. He is still hale and hearty, and retains his memory as well as when he was young. [HVC 1879, 595]
