General Notes: Husband - Watson Stewart Alexander


He was educated in the public schools; became a carpenter and finisher, later a farmer. He was a member of the Democratic party. He was twice drafted for service during the Civil War, but exempted each time.

He was a carpenter by trade but later turned his attention to farming instead. He was a lifelong Democrat and a member of the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church.
