General Notes: Husband - Jacob Ebersole

He was born and reared on the farm, and learned the trade of a carpenter, which occupation he followed all his life. He was a strong temperance advocate, and most of his life was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. However, a few years prior to his death he joined the United Brethren church.

He and his wife had five children, three of whom grew to maturity.
