General Notes: Husband - Thomas Elliott

He was born in Ireland and settled with his parents in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in 1737. Took out a warrant for 200 acres of land on Buffalo Creek, Perry County, Pennsylvania, Feb. 3, 1755. On the same date he took up a tract of fifty acres, adjoining his other land, and on Sep. 2, 1757, another fifty acres. He was driven out by the Indians, but returned again in 1762, accompanied by Edward Elliott.

In later years, the Elliot homestead became known as the "Valley Home."

There were five children of his second marriage.
