General Notes: Husband - Henry Downes Sellers


He was born at Hillsborough, Maryland, and soon after his mar­riage left the eastern shore of Maryland and went to Baltimore, where he studied medicine. Later he removed to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and there entered upon the practice of his profession, becoming not only a prominent physician but a potent factor in the development of the city.
