General Notes: Husband - Stacey Dannals Engle


He was born near Industry, Pennsylvania. In 1862 he removed to Moon township, Beaver County, where he continued at his trade of wagon building, and combined this with farming, in which he was also successful. In 1881 he removed to Green Garden, purchasing seventy-seven acres of land there, which he cultivated until his death. He was a member of the Raccoon United Presbyterian Church, and a Republican in political opinion.
