General Notes: Husband - Frank Morrison

He attended the public schools and early became associated with his father in the lumber business. He operated a saw mill on Kinzua creek, shipping his products in rafts down the Allegheny to city markets on the Ohio river. He was a large operator in Warren and McKean counties, transacting a volume of business, surprising in its size. After many years spent in lumbering, he located in Warren and in 1902 incorporated the Warren Panel and Veneer Company, one of the largest and most prosperous industries of that city. He had other interests of importance both in Warren and other localities, notably with the Superior and Mutual Oil Refineries. He was a director of the First National Bank, also of the Conewango Trust Company, both of Warren; a member and trustee of the Methodist Episcopal church; a member of the Masonic order, and in politics is a Democrat. He served on the borough council and school board. [GPHAV, 720]
