General Notes: Husband - Robert English

He resided in Kinzua, Warren County, Pennsylvania, on the Kinzua Creek. When he entered married life he had little or no capital, but by industry, energy, and economy he built up a comfortable home, surrounded by family and friends. He frequently held town offices, but did not aspire to political preferment. By choice he was a Republican. He was not a church member, but his wife was a member of the M. E. Church society.
He and his wife had a family of seven children, all but one of whom was still living in 1887. [HWC 1887, BP 30]
