General Notes: Husband - Capt. Lazarus Stewart


He was an officer in the Provincial service, and the captain of the Paxtang Boys, who so completely settled the question of the rights of Indian tramp marauders south of the Blue mountains. He fell in the massacre of Wyoming, July 3, 1778.
