She was Regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution, belonging to Donegal Chapter, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was much interested in the work of the society, and represented the chapter to which she belonged in the convention which convened at Altoona, Pennsylvania, in 1894, and at the National Congress of the society which met in Washington, D. C., in 1893 and 1894.
