General Notes: Husband - Nathaniel W. Stewart


Civil War: he was in company I, 135th Pennsylvania volunteers nine months, and also in the signal service for twenty months, serving under Sheridan. He participated in sixteen battles.

He was an elder in the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, of Knoxdale, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
