General Notes: Husband - William Reno


He was a pilot and captain on the Ohio river in early life; in later life he retired to the quiet of the farm; his farm included forty acres of what later became the town of Rochester. He had eleven children, nine of whom grew to maturity, and four were still living in 1888.

He built and commanded the first steamboat on the Western rivers.
