General Notes: Husband - William Ewing


He came to what became Ewing's Mills, Moon and Robinson townships, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and purchased six hundred acres on both sides of Montour creek. He was a millwright, and built a grist- and saw-mill. He afterward put up and operated a woolen- and saw-mill on the site later occupied by the coke-works. He and his wife were both members of the Presbyterian Church, of which he was an elder. He died aged eighty-five years. They had four sons and two daughters, who lived to be men and women. Their eldest son was David K.
