Clarence Richard Exley
Clarence Richard Exley, 57, of 202 Parker Ave., Franklin, died at 7:32 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 1999, in the West Unit of Northwest Medical Center at Franklin.
Born June 2, 1941, in Reno, he was a son of Harold and Mary Elizabeth Haun Exley.
He attended the Valley Grove schools.
Mr. Exley had lived in the Oil City-Franklin area most of his life.
He had worked as a sanitation engineer.
Mr. Exley attended the Com­munity Chapel in Franklin.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling and hunting.
Mr. Exley was married July 6, 1963, to Arlene M. Oakes, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Clarence R. Exley Jr. and his wife, Judy, Brenton Exley and his wife, Rhonda, Clinton Exley and Jason Exley and his special friend, Candy Isham, all of Franklin; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He also is survived by three brothers and their wives, James and Faye Exley of Wilmington, N. C., Harold and Linda Exley of Reno and Terry and Mary Exley of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Exley of Reno and Lois Exley of Ocala, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Exley was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Luanne Exley; and two brothers, Ronald Exley and Arthur Exley.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Hutchinson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Newsome of the Community Chapel, Franklin, officiating.
Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery.
