Nellie Exley
Mrs. Nellie Exley, 86, of Clarion, widow of Daniel Freeman Exley, died at 3:46 pm Friday in Clarion Hospital after a brief illness.
Born March 15, 1895, in Blairs Corners, Beaver Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of Daniel and Anna Blair Garris.
She was married April 19, 1916, to Daniel Freeman Exley. He died November 29, 1965.
Mrs. Exley was a lifelong resi­dent of the Clarion and Knox areas. She had lived with her daughter, Ruth Kribble, in Clarion since 1956.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Kn ox RD and the church Ladies Guild.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Edward G. (Ruth) Kribble of 18 Shannon Dr., Clarion; three grand­children, James Kribble, Gary A. Kribble and Gregory B. Kribble, all of the Clarion area; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Exley was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
Removal was made to the Roy P. Stuart Funeral Home in Knox where friends will be received from 7 to 9 pm Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday.
Services will be held at 3 pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Rev. Eli Fabian, a retired pastor of Knox, will officiate assisted by Rev. Kenneth A. Amster of Roan­oke, Va.
Interment will be in St. Paul Union Cemetery in Knox RD.
