Reba Ivonne Exley Manson, 91, a resident of Baton Rouge, La. for more than 60 years, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005.
Born July 24, 1913 in Venango County, she was the daughter of Gifford and Pearl Porter Exley. Mrs. Manson was a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College, Indiana, Pa. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Baton Rouge, La. She was a supporting member of the United Methodist Women, she also was a 40 year member of the Open Door class of the church.
Mrs. Manson was married to Lewis Manson who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Roger E. Manson and wife, Dusty; a daughter, Mary Law Manson Standouris and husband, Styl; four grandchildren; Briggs Manson and wife Stephanie Griffin Manson, Jason L. Manson and wife Sikes Manson, Lindsey Manson Aldridge and husband Kenneth and Mrs. John Sfondouris; and five greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Emily Exley Buchanan of Oil City.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs Manson was preceded in death by two brothers, Merlyn Exley and Paul Exley.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m today in the Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, La. and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in the Funeral Home Chapel where a religious service will be held a 11 a.m. Friday.
Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
