General Notes: Husband - Nathaniel Stevenson


He settled in Westmoreland County, PA, after serving for three and one-half years in the Revolutionary War, and in 1798 he moved to Franklin Town­ship, Butler County, buying 400 acres of land, and there he died when aged eighty-six years.

He moved from Westmoreland County, PA, to the eastern part of Franklin Township, Butler County, in 1798. He had previously been there on foot to select land.


General Notes: Wife - Mary Allen


She was a great spinner, and noted through the area for the great quantity and fine quality of her work.
She lived to the age of 100 years and six months.
