General Notes: Husband - Capt. Jesse Fearson


He was famous in the Revolutionary period as the commander of the privateer, Buccaneer, which was such a terror to the British mercantile shipping. Mrs. Jameson died at the age of eighty years, in Baltimore, Md., and the funeral service was held at the residence of Jesse F. Ely, Esq., an only son of her first marriage, at No. 147 Park avenue, and the burial was in St. Paul's cemetery.
