General Notes: Husband - Jesse Mitchell


He was seven years of age at the time of his parents' removal to Clarion County, Pennsylvania, and there he was reared and educated. He was a farmer by occupation and during his career rented various farms, which he cultivated. He was also the owner of a small tract of land in Clarion County. He was a staunch Democrat and for eight years served as roadmaster.
He and his wife were devout members of the Lutheran church, in the faith of which denomi-nation they reared their children.
