General Notes: Husband - Moses Findley


He immigrated to America in 1808. He died from disease contracted while serving in the War of 1812. The family were Covenanters in religious faith, and Democrats in politics.


General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth Hays


The Hays family was connected by marriage with the Buchanans of Pennsylvania, Polks of Tennessee, and the Knoxes of Arkansas.

She immigrated to America in 1803.
