General Notes: Husband - John Myers

He came from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to Dickinson Township, Cumberland County, with his parents, when he was four years of age.

He served as sheriff of Cumberland County.

He located, with his family, in McCutchenville, Wyandot County, Ohio, in 1845; there purchased the hotel-stand, and remained during the remainder of his life; many of his descendants resided in that locality.

He and his wife had thirteen children, eleven of whom grew to maturity; Emma was the youngest.
