General Notes: Husband - Richard Ennis Walsh

He was born on the old family homestead house on Fifth avenue, Pittsburgh. He was educated in the church and public schools of his native city. In early life he formed a partnership with his brother Moses P., embarking in the grocery business on the South Side. He began this partnership when but thirteen years of age and continued until they went out of trade. Perhaps no more truly confiding partnership ever existed in that community, wherein two brothers were in trade a half century and their large estates were never divided, but held and carried on as though but one man's interest for all those years, and that without disagreement.
He was of the Catholic faith and never shrank from any known duty in contributing towards its support. He was for many years in charge of the Sunday-school and he was a director of the Orphans' Home.

Besides the children listed, there were four who died in infancy.

General Notes: Wife - Jennie Fitzpatrick

She was born in Ireland and came to America when eighteen months old and was reared in Brooklyn, New York. She came to Pittsburgh in 1861.

Her grandfather lived to be one hundred and eight years of age.
