General Notes: Husband - Robert J. Lytle


Civil War: he was in Company K, 14th Pennsylvania cavalry, for two years, ten and a half months.

While attending school at Dayton Academy in 1861, he enlisted as a soldier, his teacher, Rev. D. K. Duff, captain Company K, 14th Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry. He saw much of the war with Sheridan in Virginia and elsewhere and was honorably discharged at the close of the war.
