FRANK M. C. FLOWERS.
Frank M. C. Flowers, one of the best known and most popular residents of Rockland township, is dead at his home in Coal City. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Howard and Clarene, one daughter, Mrs. George Schoch, of City City, three sisters, Mrs. William Hudson, Toledo, O.; Mrs. Frank Sopher, Hartford City, Ind., and Mrs. Frank Melat, Louisiana, and one brother, Jacob M. Flowers, of Coal City. He was a member of the Pine Hill Church of God.
The funeral announcements will be made later.

The funeral of the late Frank McClelland Flowers was held at Pine Hill church, Rockland township, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, following a brief service at the home. Rev. J. W. St. Clair of Sandycreek township, was the officiating minister. The tributes of flowers were numerous and very fine. Arthur DeLong, Mert Feltenbarger, Ira Gallagher and William Reed were the pall bearers. Interment was in the Melat cemetery.

Mrs. Elsie Flower, 91, Of Franklin, Succumbs
FRANKLIN - Miss Elsie Elzada Flower, 91, widow of Franklin M. Flower Jr., died in her home at 630 Elk St., at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
One of Franklin's oldest residents, Mrs. Flower made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clar­ence A. Flower of the Elk St. address
Mrs. Flower suffered a stroke this past March 8 and had been confined since that time.
A daughter of John and Mary Smith, she was born at Coal City June 25, 1874.
She and Mr. Flower were married in 1890. He died in 1914. After his death, Mrs. Flower moved to Franklin and had liv­ed here since.
She was a lifelong member of the Pine Hill Church of God and attended regularly and was ac­tive in church affairs as long as her health permitted.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George (Ethel) Schoch, and a son, Clarence A. Flower, both of Franklin; four granddaughters, ten great-grandchil­dren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Howard Flower, died in 1951.
Removal was made to the Huff Chapel in Franklin where friends may call after 7 p.m. today and where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be con­ducted in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Leland Almes, assistant pastor of the First Methodist Church of Franklin, and Rev. Collett Mc-Million, pastor of the Seventh Street Church of God, officiat­ing. Interment will be in the Melat Cemetery.
The family has requested that friends make donations to the cancer fund.
