General Notes: Husband - Charles E. Foringer


He was educated in the public schools at Kaylor, PA. Afterward he assisted his father in the store and post office, and from 1892 until 1898, when he was ap­pointed postmaster, he served as assistant postmaster under W. H. Eynon. In politics he was a Republican, and he served one year as township auditor by appointment. He belonged to the Masonic Blue lodge, at Chicora; the Knights of Pythias at Chicora; and the Red Men, the Odd Fellows and Pa­trons of Husbandry, all at Kaylor, PA. He and his family attended the Baptist Church.
