General Notes: Husband - Obediah E. Fox

All his life he followed the various occupations connected with the lumber business, including that of sawyer in the mill, but lived retired just prior to his death. During the Civil war he served three years in the Union army, having enlisted in Company C, 62d Pennsylvania Infantry. He held membership in the Methodist Church, was an Odd Fellow and member of the Jr. O. U. A. M., and in politics supported the Democratic Party. For a time he held the office of constable.
