Julius B. French.
PARKER, Pa., Dec. 8.-(Special)- Julius Beecher French, aged 77 years, died in his home on Jackson street, this city, this morning at 3 o'clock from a complication of diseases, following an illness of several years. Mr. French was born at Chittanango, N. Y. He was a resident of Parker for over 40 years and was in the employ of the National Transit Company as a field gauger in the Parker and Butler oil fields for 36 years, having been placed on the retired list eight years ago. He was a member of the M. E. church. The deceased was a life long Democrat and was a good citizen, enjoying the esteem and confidence of a host of friends. His wife was Miss Sara Henry, and survives him with the following children: William T. French, McDonald, Pa.; Mrs. S. O. Cratty, Pitcairn, Pa.; Misses Mame L. and Ida Belle, at home. One granddaughter, Miss Sarah Virginia Cratty, of Pitcairn, also survives.
Funeral services will be held at the family residence on Thursday at 1:30.

PARKER'S LANDING, Pa., Feb. 16 - (Special) - Mrs. Sarah Henry French, 80 years old, died in her home here Friday, February 13, at 9:20 p. m. from a complication of ailments.
Mrs. French was the widow of the late J. B. French. She was a resident of this place for over 45 years and was held in high esteem. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Three daughters and one son survive her: Mary L. and Ida B. French, at home; Mrs. S. O. Cratty, of Pitcorn, and William T. French, of McDonald, Pa.
Funeral services will be held in the late home of the deceased at 2:30 p. m. today by Rev. E. W. Robinson. Interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery.
