General Notes: Husband - Robert Sterrett

He was born near Bellevue, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. After his marriage he purchased sixty acres of land from the Frew estate, and this became known as the Sterrett estate. A stone house was already on this property, and to this he made a brick addition which was standing into the twentieth century. He was engaged successfully in farming, and eventually died there. He was a Republican, and he and his wife were members of the Episcopal Church.
