General Notes: Husband - Paul Hough

He enjoyed none of the educational advantages of later days. He attended the old subscription school for a brief period, but by reading and self-study he acquired a fair and good business education. He made farming the principal business of his life.
He was a democrat and served his township as supervisor and school director. He was a member of the Lutheran church.
