General Notes: Husband - James L. Allison

Allegheny Co, PA - a farmer

He received his education in the public schools, and in early manhood engaged in farming independently. He owned one hundred acres of fine farm land, and kept this in an excellent state of cultivation. He was one of the prosperous farmers of the township, and his farm was considered a model of its size in many ways. He served a number of years as a member of the board of school directors. His religious affiliation was with the United Presbyterian Church.
