General Notes: Husband - John McCune Fullerton


He was a veteran of the Civil War. He served with the famous Copper Battery, and participated in twenty-two important battles and engagements of the war. He spent practically his entire life in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and died at the age of 75 years.

He entered the army at the age of twenty-two, enlisting at Mt. Jackson, Pennsylvania, in Battery B, 1st Pa. V. L. A., promoted to First Sergeant. His battle record is Drainsville, the seven day's fight before Richmond, second Bull Run, South Mountain, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Wilderness, Spottsylvania, North Anna River, Mine Run and Cold Harbor. He was a member of New Castle Post, No. 100, G. A. R.
