General Notes: Husband - Robert H. Fulton

Big Spring, West Pennsborough Twp, Cumberland Co, PA

He was reared on the farm and educated in the Big Spring Academy. He enlisted, in 1862, in Company C, One Hundred and Fifty-eighth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers, under Col. D. B. McKibben. Most of his service was in North Carolina, but the regiment also did duty in front of Richmond. He was promoted from corporal to sergeant of his company, and received his discharge August 18, 1863.
