Patrick Michael Fye
Patrick Michael Fye, 20, of 1062 Whitmer Road, Sligo died at 2:58 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005. at the scene of an automobile accident in Beaver Township, Clarion County.
Born Dec. 22, 1984, in Oil City, he was the son of Michael A. and Debra A. Whitmer Fye of Whitmer Road, Sligo.
Mr. Fye was a 2003 Keystone High School graduate.
He was employed at Central Machine and Tool at Wentlings Corners as a machinist.
Mr. Fye was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Knox RD 2 and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends at their dock on the Clarion River.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fye is survived by a sister, Autumn at home; his maternal grandfather, Ray Whitmer of Sligo RD; his grandfather, Walt Fye of Knox; his paternal great-grandmother, Gladys Hartzell of Knox RD; an uncle, Danny Whitmer and wife Tammy of Pittsburgh; an aunt Deborah Shay and husband, Jeff of Knox and numerous great-uncles, great-aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ann Whitmer: his paternal grandmother, Annabelle Fye: and an uncle Rodney Whitmer.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. today and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the David C. McEntire Funeral Home, 504 E. Penn, Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Rob McCarty, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Union Cemetery, Knox.
