Mrs. William Kerr.
The death of Mrs. Fannie Melissa Kerr, aged 45 years, wife of William Kerr, occurred Tuesday morning at her home near Kilgore. Death resulted from infection in her foot caused by stepping on a tack a week ago. The infection was augmented by a sugar diabetes condition from which she had been suffering for some time.
Mrs. Kerr was a daughter of John H. and Amelda Brakeman Gadsby and was born in Worth township, on the Thomas Gadsby homestead, Dec. 17, 1889. She married William Kerr 23 years ago and is survived by him and the following children: Mrs. Irene McGintis, Dorothy, Paul, Alice, Josephine, Helen and Clair, all at home and two grandchildren, her mother, of Sandy Lake, two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Hoffman, of Sandy Lake, and Mrs. Alice Ohler, of Utica.
Funeral services were held at the Amity church Thursday at 2 p. m., with interment in the Irwin cemetery.
