General Notes: Husband - Chris L. McQuiston


He received his preliminary education in the public schools of Butler, Pennsylvania, later attending Kiskinimetas School and West Point Military Academy, and from there entered Bucknell University, from which he received his A. B. degree in 1899. He then returned to Butler and read law with his father, and J. C. Vanderlin, the firm later being Wilson, McQuiston & Vanderlin. Mr. McQuiston was admitted to the bar in 1910, and was associated in practice with his father until the latter's death, when he took over his practice also.
He was a Democrat and a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Fraternally he was affiliated with the B. P. O. Elks No. 170, past exalted ruler; Butler Lodge F. and A. M. No. 272; New Castle Consistory, 32nd degree; Syria Temple, A. A. O. N. M. S.; and Syria Caravan, of Butler, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Butler Country Club, the Butler County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
