General Notes: Husband - John George Seanor


He attended the public schools, and then went to Geneva College, and after graduation from that institution entered Duff's Business School, from which he emerged ready for business life. He spent a year with the Standard Sanitary Engineering Company, and then went into the brick business with the Darlington (Pennsylvania) Brick Company, where he remained for eight years. He started as a clerk, and was superintendent of the business when he left. Later he took charge of the Darlington plant of the Alliance Brick Company and was made its superintendent.
In politics, Mr. Seanor was a Republican. During the first World War he enlisted in the 6th Engineers of the Third Division, with the rank of sergeant, and served two years. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows; of the Free and Accepted Masons, Iron Valley Lodge, No. 411; and of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Beaver Falls Chamber of Commerce; and in religion was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.
