General Notes: Husband - Alexander Garvin

The sources give two apparently completely different stories about this man. Probably two different persons have been confused with each other.

He came from Rockingham County, Virginia, in 1800, and settled on a tract of government land in Cranberry township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, containing 400 acres. With him came his wife and family, and the trip to the new country was made by wagon. He resided in Cranberry township the balance of his days.
