General Notes: Husband - James McKee

He served in the army of independence, and received for his services two hundred acres of "donation land," lying eleven miles from Franklin, Pennsylvania. This land, it seems, he never settled on and it was sold for taxes. John Black for Martha McKee, his wife, and James Hogan for Lydia McKee, his wife, brought suit to recover this land, and the supreme court of Pennsylvania decided the case in their favor.
