General Notes: Husband - David Goss


He was reared to manhood in Decatur township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, and made his first purchase of land there, becoming owner of 300 acres of land near Blue Ball. This he cleared and improved, and afterward added to it sixty acres.

He located upon a farm later owned by his son Joseph, at first purchasing 125 acres of timber land, to which he added from time to time until he had 333 acres. He cleared and improved a portion of his land, and thereon made his home until called to his final rest.
