General Notes: Husband - David Earhart


He and his wife were pioneers of Indiana County, Pennsylvania. They resided near Blairsville until 1838, whence they removed to near the town of Indiana. In 1845 they removed to Scott County, Iowa, which they made their home the balance of their lives. David Earhart died in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, while on a visit to his son.

He and his wife were the parents of eleven children, nine sons and two daughters, all of whom grew to maturity, and seven of the number were still living in 1895.
