Mrs. James H. Gilliland.
Mrs. James H. Gilliland died at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at her home at Polk, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband, one son, A. C. Gilliland, of Polk, two daughters, Mrs. H. E. Reynolds and Mrs. R. W. Hugus, both of Franklin; and 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family home. Interment will be in the Sandy cemetery.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. J. H. GILLILAND
Funeral services in memory of Mrs. James H. Gilliland, of Polk, were conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home the deceased, with Rev. Applegate, of the Presbyterian church, of Polk, officiating. Mrs. Pedro McKisie, Mrs. Anna Bell and Lee Phillips sang "Shall We Meet Again?" and There Be Any Stars in My Crown?"
Interment was in the Sandycreek cemetery with the following acting a pall-bearers: W. N. Perrine, Anson Dille, Dallas Dille, Clinton Wike, Fred McClellan, and William Hovis.
