Arthur Wayne Lusher.
Arthur Wayne Lusher, 40, well-known resident of 620 Buffalo Street, died at 10:50 p. m. Friday in the Franklin Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday. He had been in ill health since November.
The son of the late Perry E. and Hattie Myers Lusher, he was born in Rockland on Jan. 13, 1914 and has been a resident of this area his entire life. Mr. Lusher was employed in the Maintenance department of the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. His death came as a sad shock to his family and many friends.
He was a member of Franklin Aerie No. 328, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ruby Gillingham whom he married Sept. 20, 1945; two children, Mary Kathryn and Judy Louise Lusher, at home; two brothers and one sister, Roy C. Lusher, George E. Lusher, and Mrs. Harold W. (Ruby) Graham, all of Franklin; one half-brother, John C. Smith, Uniontown, O.; and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the Barron Chapel where friends may call at any time and where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Monday by the Rev. J. L. Woods, pastor of the Seventh Street Church of God. Interment will be made in the Rockland Cemetery.

Arthur Wayne Lusher
Funeral services in memory of Arthur Wayne Lusher, of 620 Buffalo Street, who died Friday evening in the Franklin Hospital were conducted in the Barron Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. J. L. Woods, pastor of the Seventh Street Church of God.
During the services, Rev. Woods read the hymns, "Rock of Ages" and "Beneath the Cross of Jesus," and the poem, "Crossing the Bar."
A large number of friends called at the Barron Chapel and there were many floral tributes. On Sunday evening the members of Franklin Aerie No. 328, Fraternal Order of Eagles called in a body and conducted their memorial services, in charge of Walter H. Stover, worthy president.
Interment was made in the Rockland Cemetery and the following were pallbearers: Richard M. Bell, William H. Bacher, Walter H. Stover, Charles H. Burchfield, Francis F. Knooihuizen and Robert B. Wood.
Among those attending the services from a distance were, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Smith, Uniontown, O.; Elmer Myers, Akron, O.; A. B. Ronald L. Lusher, Sampson Air Base, Geneva, N. Y.; Pvt. Paul E. Lusher, Valley Forge Hospital, Phoenixville; Sgt. Arthur Gillingham, Camp Pickett, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Wiley McCune and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gillingham, Erie.
